Who says you have to wait until the new year to start something? What’s wrong with starting something new in say… oh… April?
Not a thing. So, that’s what I’m doing.
Welcome to The Reformed Writer Reading Challenge!
This challenge is theme-based. It’s not about quantity, but about broadening what we read. Each month will bring a new theme, and there will be both a fiction and a non-fiction challenge option.
No blog required. Don’t like the theme for the month? No worries… this is just a fun, personal challenge. No one’s keeping score. Go ahead and skip and wait for next month’s theme.
Ready to get started?
April’s theme is: FUNNY
Fiction Challenge: Read a comedy – Could be a romantic comedy. Could be something completely off the wall. As long as it’s funny and fiction.
Non-Fiction Challenge: Read a biography or an autobiography of a comedian – Television? Film? Stand-up? Your choice!
Drop a comment below if you’re participating. If you know what you’re going to read, let me know! And don’t forget to come back and link your review if you do one. Or just let us know what you thought of the book here in the comments.
