Planning in Progress

As 2015 comes to a close, I’ve begun reviewing the goals I laid out for myself last year and evaluating how I’ve done. The answer is either “failed” or “slightly better than last year.” Nothing epic.

In an effort to help myself focus, I decided to invest in a planner. I wanted something I could have glances at daily, weekly, and monthly. I was looking for both short-term and long-term focus. I found a few that were okay, but not quite what I was looking for.

Then I found this:

Go ahead and click on that photo for more info on the planner… after you’re done here, of course. 😉

I bookmarked this one and continued my search, but I kept coming back to it. I’ve mentioned on this blog before that I write. I started writing a novel about three years ago, but I stopped. I’ve wanted to get back into the novel, but I never feel like I can make myself focus and do the work.

This planner will not only help me focus my novel goals, but I can use it to plan out my blog, my Bible studies, and there’s even a To-Be-Read page! I can keep track of the books I have for different review programs and when they’re due. And I can jot down other work or personal items that I need extra focus on.

So, I’m writing this post in anticipation. Expected delivery date is Wednesday! I’ll have it in time to get it all personalized for the new year and dig into 2016 with a plan that, by God’s grace, I will stick to!

Don’t forget to scroll back up and click on that picture for more information on the planner.
