I had meant for A.D. 30 to be the last book I read in 2014. I didn’t get to it before the year ended, and so it became my first of 2015. I’m taking that as a sign. I enjoyed this book so much. It encouraged my faith, and reminded me just how much I enjoy Ted Dekker’s work. So, I’ve decided to change one of my plans for 2015.
4) Complete at least one of my Reading Goals: My reading goals are posted here. I will try complete my Middle-Earth goal this year. No promises, as it’s extensive.
I have several Ted Dekker books on my shelf that I have yet to read, and I want to re-read the Circle series. With that in mind, I’m going to leave the Middle-Earth goal on hold this year. Instead, I will work on my Circle goal. We’ll call this The Year of Dekker. I will still read other books. I’ll still be working on my Fill In the Gaps challenge, which is filled with lots of classic literature. I’ll just be reading a lot of Dekker as well.
